Best Hair Care for Every Hair Type

Aloe Vera is the perfect hair care ingredient for glossy, shiny, hydrated strands. While this super plant goes above and beyond to hydrate, moisturize, soothe, calm, and protect the skin, its effects on the hair and the scalp are equally impressive.

Hair is made of keratin, a strong, yet supple, highly resilient protein. As a matter of fact, hair is almost 95% keratin which our bodies make using amino acids. This is interesting since Aloe vera contains 7 of the 8 essential amino acids your body needs to stay healthy.

L’BRI offers a complete line of Aloe-First hair care products including Clarifying Shampoo, Aloe Nourishing Shampoo, Aloe Nourishing Conditioner, and Hair Repair Masque Deep Conditioning Treatment to keep your hair clean, shiny, bouncy, healthy, and happy.

Why Do I Need a Clarifying Shampoo?

If you use styling products daily, such as gel or hair spray, you’ll love the way Clarifying Shampoo makes your hair look and feel. Excess product buildup weighs the hair down, making it appear lifeless, dull, and heavy. Aloe Clarifying Shampoo restores manageability, shine, and bounce by performing a deep cleaning of the hair and scalp by removing impurities, oil buildup, and product residue without stripping.

An ultra-clean, healthy scalp is the secret to healthy hair. Aloe vera not only helps remove dirt and excess oil from the scalp, but it also controls excess oil, moisturizes, and helps slough off dead skin cells that may be clogging hair follicles and pores.

What Makes Aloe Nourishing Shampoo Unique?

Everyone is looking for voluminous, manageable hair full of bounce and shine. Aloe-First, Aloe Nourishing Shampoo provides hair with essential nutrients to help strengthen, condition, and protect it from environmental damage and blow drying.

Environmental stressors from UV exposure, air pollution, tobacco smoke and more create free radicals that damage hair leaving it vulnerable to breakage and loss. Aloe contains vitamins A, B12, B9, C, and E, which are essential for hair health and growth. These antioxidants help reduce and neutralize those pesky, destructive free radicals.

When it comes to controlling excess oil on the scalp, hair, and skin, Aloe vera is a wonder ingredient. It contains enzymes that break down fats so they can be washed away without stripping or drying. Aloe can also help soothe and calm an itchy scalp. And because it’s a gentle exfoliator, it can slough off flaky skin caused by dandruff.

Do I Really Need a Conditioner?

Aloe Nourishing Conditioner helps bring dry, brittle, damaged hair back to life. It’s important to use conditioner after every shampoo to seal in vitamins, nutrients, and moisture. This is true even if your hair is oily. Just like Aloe vera helps hydrate dry skin, it performs the same wonders for a dry scalp helping to prevent flakes. Using a conditioner can help damaged hair look healthier by increasing shine and decreasing static while improving strength and elasticity. Aloe

Nourishing Conditioner won’t weigh hair down but instead helps plump the hair with moisture for strength, silkiness, glossiness, and added manageability.

What Causes Hair Damage?

So many factors cause hair damage: excessive brushing and heat styling, blow drying, pulling hair back tightly, using elastic bands, coloring, straightening, perming… the list is almost endless. Even UV exposure from the sun can cause your hair to lose its shine and color.

Who Needs a Deep Conditioning Treatment?

Your hair doesn’t have to be heavily damaged or coarse to reap the benefits of a deep conditioner. Hair Repair Masque Deep Conditioning Treatment is an Aloe-First product that helps nourish, rehydrate, protect, and smooth split ends to reduce breakage and tame frizzy hair. It reconditions with a blend of Aloe, Shea butter, herbs, botanicals, and fruit oils.

How Do I Wash and Condition My Hair Properly?

  1. Thoroughly wetting your hair with warm water helps the shampoo create a rich lather. The warmth of the water also begins the process of loosening oil, dirt, and styling product buildup on your hair.
  2. Aloe Clarifying Shampoo or Aloe Nourishing Shampoo? Depending on what your hair goes through daily, Aloe Clarifying Shampoo should be used every four to six weeks. If you spend time in chlorinated water, you should use it more often, especially after a swim. It will help keep the green tinge at bay.
  1. When shampooing, the main goal is to clean your scalp. Use a dime to quarter size depending on your hair length then gently scrub your entire scalp in circular motions for 2-3 minutes. Use the tips of your fingers so that you don’t scratch your delicate scalp with your fingernails. Massaging the scalp generates blood flow to the follicles and rids the scalp of dead skin cells that can clog pores. Allow the shampoo to run from your scalp down through your hair and then gently massage the length of your hair. Be kind to your strands. Rough shampooing can cause damage.
  2. If your hair is especially oily or dirty, you may need to shampoo it again or use Aloe Clarifying Shampoo. Be sure to rinse your hair thoroughly for 2-3 minutes. Leftover shampoo lather can wash away conditioner. So, take your time while rinsing, then gently squeeze the excess water out of your hair so the conditioner can stick to every strand.
  3. Aloe Nourishing Conditioner or Hair Repair Masque Deep Conditioning Treatment?
For severely damaged or coarse hair, apply Hair Repair Masque Deep Conditioning Treatment one to two times weekly to clean, wet hair. Or for deep conditioning, apply a generous amount of the masque to the hair, leaving it on overnight. Rinse the masque from your hair in the morning and style it as usual. For dry, less damaged, hair, use once weekly. Apply hair masque in the shower. Allow to penetrate the hair for 5-10 minutes, rinse, towel dry, and style as usual.
  4. Rub your choice of conditioner between the palms of your hands and start at the ends of your hair working your way toward the scalp making sure every strand is coated. Use your fingers like a comb to distribute the conditioner evenly. Concentrate it on the ends of your hair and use less and less as you move toward the scalp.
  5. Rinse your hair thoroughly with cold water. This helps seal in nutrients and smooth the cuticle for shinier, smoother hair.
  6. Enjoy your happy, healthy, Aloe-pampered strands.
